|
Dynafit Compatible Boots
- Race...Tour...Freeride...just because they fit lightweight Dyanfit bindings doesn't make them weak! |
|
Freeride/Freetouring Boots
- For the backcountry, sidecountry, or slackcountry hucker. These aren't the lightest, but they'll drive the biggest skis and land anything.

Women's Specific Boots
- We know chicks rip...the boot makers have finally figured it out too! Boots designed for a narrower foot, not a weaker skier. |
|
Generally speaking, Garmont boots are made on a wider last than Scarpa's. This difference is most notable through the arch and toebox. Dynafit boots tend to fit even wider feet than Garmont. All come with heat-moldable liners that can be tweaked to add or take a little room where needed; molding your liners should be used as a mico-adjustment, not a major boot fit! The new Scarpa Intuition liners tend to fit better right out of the box; Garmont's tend to pack out a LOT on initial molding or use, so we highly suggest doing a shell fit before determining if you've got the right boot size!

Dynafit Compatibility Questions |
The only boots that will work with Dynafit bindings are the ones specified by the manufacturers to do so. There is no after-market kit you can buy to make your Alpine or AT boots Dynafit compatible.
|
Will My AT boots Work With My Alpine Bindings? |
The Scarpa Hurricane and Tornado Pro*, and Garmont Shaman, Astral, Axon*, Endorphin*, Adrenalin*, and Xena* are compatible with Alpine bindings. The lugged and/or Vibram soles of other AT boots will not allow them to properly release in a standard Alpine binding.
*These boots require you to switch the sole for Alpine binding compatibility.
